LAHORE (06-09-18): The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore observed the Defense Day of Pakistan in a befitting manner to pay rich tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan here on Thursday.
In connection with the Defense Day of Pakistan a seminar was held in UVAS Auditorium Hall, in which English & Urdu speeches, national song performances by students, short video of ISPR related to Defense Day and prayer for the isaal-e-sawaab of martyrs featured to mark the day.
UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani chaired a seminar while UVAS Senior Tutor Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf a large number of faculty members, staff and students were attended. The seminar was aimed to make aware the young generation of the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and the people for the defense of the homeland.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Masood Rabbani highlighted the sacrifices of armed forces for the defense of the country. He advised students and teachers to excel in your concerning fields and play a vital role for the development of Pakistan.
Similar activities were also arranged on all other campuses of UVAS including Ravi Campus Pattoki, CVAS Jhang, KBCMA CVAS Narowal and Para-Veterinary Institute Layyah.
